Flexible Booking and Free Cancellation

Reserve your tour with confidence to make sure you don’t miss the best part of your vacation. If your plans change or new travel restrictions mess up your trip, we’ll take care of you by rebooking your tour or if necessary, easily cancelling your reservation.

 

Enhanced Cleaning and Sanitizing Measures

Our vehicles are deep-cleaned and sanitized every day they are in operation. Frequently touched surfaces in our offices and on our vehicles are cleaned and sanitized as frequently as possible and at a minimum before and after each tour.

 

Social Distancing

In addition to our enhanced cleaning protocols, we’re promoting safe social distancing at our offices, tour departure points, and on our vehicles using signage and video messaging.

 

Hand Sanitizer

Hand sanitizer is provided to guides, drivers, office staff and our guests at our sales offices, departure points and on board all tour vehicles for your use while travelling.

 

Face Coverings

In light of the latest recommendations from the Icelandic authorities in regards to reinforced restrictions due to COVID-19, we ask all our guests and staff to ensure their own safety and hygiene. We ask that our guests wear a face mask on board our vehicles, as keeping a 2 metre distance will not be possible at all times. Passengers are required to wear there own face masks but if passenger do not have their own masks, they can purchase one at the Gray Line Iceland Terminal.

Our staff regularly disinfects high traffic surface areas in the ticket office and on our vehicles, and sanitizer dispensers can be found in both locations. Hand washing and hand sanitizers are a vital part in protecting yourself against the virus and we ask guests to keep their hands clean at all times.

 

According to new regulations as of August 19 from the Directorate of health in Iceland, all travellers to Iceland are obligated to go into quarantine regardless of duration of the intended stay in Iceland or purpose of the visit.
As before all visitors must be tested for COVID-19 upon arrival in Iceland and then go straight to a 4-5 day quarantine before being tested again. When a negative second test is received they can travel freely within Iceland. Only private transportation can be taken when going to a quarantine, therefore public transportation from the airport is not allowed.

Kindly note that visitors must preregister here before their flight to Iceland. From July 1 the testing fee is ISK 11.000 / EUR 70 / USD 79 or ISK 9.000 / EUR 58 / USD 65 when prepaid. Children under the age of 15 do not have to be tested at the airport.
