Tour Itinerary

Pick-up starts 30 minutes before tour departure. Please be ready in front of your hotel or guest house or at the official bus stop.

Golden Circle Adventure:

Þingvellir National Park

The first stop is Þingvellir National Park and UNESCO World Heritage site. Here the parliament of Iceland was established in the year 930 and continued to meet until 1798, when it was moved to Reykjavik. The area shows its geological importance with the huge rift valley, created by the drift of the mid-Atlantic ridge. 

Geysir

Continue to Geysir geothermal area with its colorful deposits of yellow sulfur, the red oxidized iron rocks, and light grey deposits of Silica. While the original Geysir remains dormant, witness Strokkur erupting every 4-8 minutes, shooting water up to 40 meters into the air. This dramatic display of nature's power is a sight you won't forget.

Gullfoss Waterfall

Marvel at Gullfoss, the 'Golden Falls', that cascades into a deep gorge. Hear the roaring sound of the waterfall and feel the mist on your face. Sometimes you can see rainbows in the water spray. 

Sleipnir Tours Iceland - Meeting Point

Now it is time for the Sleipnir Glacier Adventure! Meet us at our Transfer bus at the upper Gullfoss parking space, directly opposite the 'Gullfoss - Panorama Restaurant - Cafe - Shop'. 

Langjökull Glacier Adventure:

To the Glacier

We set our course to Langjökull, known as the 'Long Glacier'. With every turn, a fresh, mesmerizing sight emerges. While this majestic location was inaccessible in the past, our Gigantic Red Monster Glacier Truck now provides a smooth and safe journey.

Listen to our knowledgeable guides and their interesting facts about glaciers, local stories, and folklore. 

Fun on the Glacier

Soak up the atmosphere of the Langjökull Glacier, enjoy the view and play Glacier Golf* and/or sled* down the snowy hill. Drink the freshest water straight from the glacier, and enjoy some hot cocoa and tea at our pop-up glacier café. Be sure to try the Jökla liqueur and the classic Icelandic “Kleina”.

Gullfoss Meeting Point

We head back to Gullfoss waterfall to meet your bus that will bring you back to Reykjavik.

• *Activities are subject to weather and conditions on the glacier. We reserve the right to cancel or modify activities due to glacier conditions.

• No children seats available in monster trucks.

• Participants must be at least 6 years old.

• Pick up: please be at your chosen pickup location 30 minutes before the departure of the tour. Look for the Green SmartBus™ which will be outside your accommodation or bus stop within 30 minutes of pickup.

• The operation of this tour depends on the conditions of the glacier. Due to sudden and unexpected weather changes, the monster truck experience might be canceled after the tour departs from Reykjavík
