As you trek from Þórsmörk to Skógar on the ancient Fimmvörðuháls trail, you will witness volcanoes and glaciers locked in an epic battle to be crowned as the most awe-inspiring. At the end of the trail, you are greeted by the powerful Skógafoss waterfall. Fimmvörðuháls trek was named as one of the Best Hikes in the World by National Geographic.
Take this challenging hike from Thorsmork valley up to Fimmvorduhals pass, the home of the new craters Magni and Modi created in the 2010 eruption of famous Eyjafjallajökull volcano. With stunning landscape and amazing views, this hike is for the nature lover at heart.
