Jökulsárlón, or the glacier lagoon as it is often called, is a glacial lake at the head of the Breiðamerkurjökull glacier in southeast Iceland. Situated on the edge of Vatnajökull National Park, the breaking ice makes for a constantly changing landscape that can be admired from the shore as well as on the water.
Cast off on a journey to explore the jaw-dropping body of water by an amphibious boat. Feel the ice-cool wind on your face as you glide across the glacial meltwater and thread your way through the floating icebergs on their way out to sea. Spot wild seals in their natural habitat and learn about the geology and history of the lagoon. It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience to come so close to a melting glacier and the icebergs that break off.
