ATV (Quad bike) tour
The ATV - all-terrain vehicle is a way how to have a great time exploring the country! The first stop on this tour will be right here. After getting all necessary gear such as helmets, overalls, gloves and other stuff, the guide will give you an informative safety talk. Then you are ready to hop-up on your ATV, either solo or with a companion, and begin your journey out from the outskirts of Reykjavik up to Mt. Hafrafell. Along the way, stops are made for your guide to explain the road ahead, for you to take photos and videos or just stretch your legs. It is an amazing way to have fun.
Þingvellir National Park
After having adventurous fun times on ATV, your tour continues to the Þingvellir National Park where the first democratic parliament Alþing was established in 930 AD. The nation's most powerful leaders took decisions of many important things there during the hard Viking's age times. Exactly a thousand years later, Þingvellir National Park became the official national park. You will see here the beautiful Icelandic landscapes, nature, and Iceland's largest natural lake Thingvallavatn.
Gullfoss Waterfall
This enormous waterfall is 32 meters high and falls into two tiers - 11 and 21 meters high. Gullfoss waterfall was named after the golden color of the water. Gullfoss waterfall lies in the river Hvítá and its water is coming from Iceland's second-largest glacier Langjökull. If you are coming for the tour during the summertime, Gullfoss offers you to come as close as possible. During the wintertime, there are two spots to watch this majestic waterfall. If you feel snacky or thirsty, Gullfoss cafe is the right place to sit down while waiting to move to another location. Don't forget to use the 10% discount as a Gray Line Iceland customer :-)
Geysir Geothermal Area
The last stop during the Golden Circle & ATV Trail Ride tour is at Geysir Geothermal area. Please, during your visit there, pay respect to all signs and warnings, and keep our nature untouched. The biggest attraction at this location is definitely world-famous Geysir Strokkur. Strokku erupts every 6-10 minutes and is always a great show to watch and experience even you never know how high and the strong eruption will be. Explore this place and other spots with so clear but almost boiling water. You might smell the typical geothermal smell, but that's just how it is. Thanks to our geothermal spots we are able to produce more energy, build all hot tubs and swimming pools and greenhouses. Geysir Geothermal area is also a place where you can find refreshments at the Glíma restaurant and get a 10% discount as our customer.

I had a great time on the ATV tour. The coach bus tour was subpar. My jacket was lost at the ATV place and they told us they could drop it off to GrayLine, but our tour guide did not understand and told me it was not going to be there, so he did not stop for us. Very disappointing.
